Aluminum hydroxide
Aluminum hydroxide is a inorganic compound, chemical formula Al (OH) 3, which is the hydroxide of aluminum. Aluminum hydroxide is an amphoteric hydroxide that can react with acids to form salts and water, as well as strong bases to form salts and water. Due to its acidity, it can also be called aluminic acid (H3AlO3). However, in fact, when reacting with alkali, tetrahydroxy aluminate ([Al (OH) 4] -) is generated. Therefore, it is usually regarded as monohydrate of metaaluminic acid (HAlO2 · H2O), which can be divided into industrial grade and pharmaceutical grade according to its use.

- Used for rubber, plastics, paints, adhesives and other polymer materials to eliminate smoke and flame retardant.
- Used as filling materials in building boards, artificial marble, paper and other products.
- Used to low smoke halogen free cable materials, silicone rubber, thermosetting plastics, thermoplastics, synthetic rubber, paint, rubber insulation materials and building materials and other industries.
- Used as a new inorganic flame retardant, it has the characteristics of halogen-free, low-smoke, non-toxic, anti-drip and filling.
Whiteness and Particle Size Control: Aluminum hydroxide typically boasts high whiteness, making it suitable for the preparation of high-quality products within the aluminum salt industry. Additionally, particle size can be precisely controlled to meet various processing and application requirements.
High Purity: High-quality aluminum hydroxide often features a high degree of purity, which is crucial for aluminum salt preparation and other applications. High-purity aluminum hydroxide ensures the quality and stability of the final products.
Chemical Stability: Aluminum hydroxide generally displays excellent chemical stability, enabling its use as a neutralizing agent for acidic wastewater and gas treatment. It can effectively neutralize substances like sulfuric acid and h ydrochloric acid, reducing adverse environmental impacts.
Anti-Caking Properties: Aluminum hydroxide is typically easy to disperse and resistant to caking, facilitating its handling and processing within the aluminum salt industry.
Hygroscopicity: Aluminum hydroxide possesses a certain degree of hygroscopicity, making it suitable for wet process production methods. It helps improve the flowability and shape of products.
Filler and Stabilizer: Aluminum hydroxide can serve as a filler and stabilizer in aluminum salt preparation processes, aiding in achieving uniform reactions and enhancing the quality and yield of products.
Outstanding Fire Resistance: Aluminum hydroxide is commonly used as a fire retardant due to its ability to release moisture when exposed to flames, reducing the intensity of fires and minimizing thermal radiation.
