Chemical properties: outstanding high temperature resistance, strong thermal stability, insoluble in water, difficult to dissolve in acid, relatively stable in the atmosphere, acid and alkali resistance, can improve the high temperature strength and slag erosion resistance of refractory materials.

 

Application

Chromium oxide is mainly used in special steel smelting outlets, slide gates and large high-temperature furnaces It can be used for the coloring of ceramics and ceramics, rubber coloring, the preparation of high temperature resistant coatings, pigments for art, and the preparation of inks for printing paper and securities. The color of aluminum oxide green is similar to the chlorophyll of plants, which can be used in camouflage paint and can make it difficult to distinguish in infrared photography. It is also widely used in metallurgy, making refractory materials, and grinding powder. Organic synthetic additives can also be used, which are advanced green pigments.
